This whistle is made from Delrin, a new modern polymer developed for food contact applications, which Logan are able to precision cut in just the same way as they do for their metal whistles. It is now the material of choice for precision instruments where strength & performance are critical and because it is completely sterile and stable at extreme temperatures. So an ideal material to create a good whistle. No sound distortion, extremely tactile with a silky texture and comfortable to use even when it’s very cold, or hot – or if you just don’t want a metal whistle.
